Passbook Savings Account

This account is designed for smaller balances. Withdrawals or transfers made to another account of the depositor may be made without limitation if made; in person, by ATM, by mail or by messenger. All other requests for withdrawal or transfer are limited to six per month. However, the bank reserves the right at any time to require prior written notice of intent to withdraw. Interest is compounded quarterly and paid quarterly.

Interest rates paid on savings accounts may be subject to change from time to time as determined by the bank and will be posted in the bank lobby. There is a monthly maintenance fee of $2.00 on accounts that fail to maintain an average balance of $100.00. Students under 18 years of age are exempt from this fee. The minimum amount to open a savings account is $25.00.

If your savings account becomes overdrawn because of a recurring automatic charge, you will be subject to the normal overdraft charge of $25.00.

If the savings account is closed within 90 days by the depositor, it will be subject to a $20.00 early closing fee.
