USDA Rural Development Guaranteed Rural Housing Program

• No down payment required. Loans may be made up to the property's appraised value
• Applications can be made through Shell Lake State Bank
• Following the purchase, you must personally occupy the dwelling.
• Mortgages are 30 year terms with a fixed interest rate agreed upon by yourself and the lender.
• You are responsible for paying GRH loan origination fees and closing costs. (Under certain conditions, these costs may be included in the loan.)
• No private mortgage insurance is required. We pay a one time guarantee fee which may be passed on to the applicant.
• Rural Development application processing time is usually within 2 days of receipt of your application from us.
